Senior Accounting Specialist

Job Description

In a global management consulting firm like Roland Berger, the finance area offers exciting challenges. As a team member of the Finance team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia the following exciting fields of activity await you:

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payables, invoicing, management of receivables and collection, bank statements, calculation and booking of accruals, monthly VAT and Withholding Tax declaration, yearly preparation of Corporate Tax declaration
  • Travel expenses
  • Collaboration in international projects as an interface to accounting
  • Contact for accounting-related issues for internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in the preparation of the financial statements according to IFRS (incl. preparation of notes and related calculations)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Member of the Saudi accounting organization
  • At least 2  years of professional experience in the field of accounting/ controlling or auditing - ideally in a comparable international environment
  • Very good knowledge of accounting
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Analytical thinking skills and a goal-oriented approach to word
  • Proactive, able to  take initiatives and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Experience with SAP Business by Design is an advantage
