Job Description

As an IT Manager at Roland Berger Middle East, you will be the focal point for our internal IT function in our organization, responsible for enabling our front and back office with well-run IT services and managing our outsourcing partners. You will work closely with executive teams, consulting client teams, and occasionally clients. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Refine and implement the IT strategy and roadmap that supports the business goals and objectives of Roland Berger Middle East
  • Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services and solutions
  • Define and refine IT policies for Roland Berger Middle East while retaining compliance with global policies
  • Lead and oversee the IT operations outsourcing partners, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards are defined, refined, and met
  • Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and security of the IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
  • Identify and manage IT risks and issues, and implement mitigation and contingency plans
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as legal and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and align IT activities and initiatives with the global IT function and other regional IT teams
  • Provide IT support and guidance to internal users, including executive teams, consulting client teams, and occasionally clients
  • Manage IT projects and initiatives, such as IT transformation, digitalization, innovation, and integration
  • Evaluate and recommend new and emerging IT technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the business value and competitiveness of Roland Berger Middle East

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field (strongly advised)
  • Master's degree or professional certification in IT management, project management, or relevant domain (optional)
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a consulting or professional services company environment (required)
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering IT projects and initiatives for an internal IT function (required)
  • Strong knowledge and skills in IT infrastructure, systems, applications, security, and governance (required)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex IT concepts and solutions to various stakeholders, including executive teams (required)
  • Ability to coordinate and align IT activities and initiatives with the global IT function and other regional teams, ensuring alignment with the global IT strategy and standards (required)
  • Ability to manage IT support and provide guidance to internal users, resolving IT issues and requests in a timely and efficient manner (required)
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend new and emerging IT technologies, tools, and methodologies that can enhance the business value and competitiveness of Roland Berger Middle East (required)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment (required)
  • Fluent in English (required) and Arabic (optional)
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as needed (required)
  • Experience in working with global and multicultural teams (optional)
